This place is just what we were looking for, a relaxing place to have a glass of wine and beer in a historic building. Simple, charming decor. Very friendly bartender. Coffee and tea also served. We spent a lovely late afternoon enjoying our drinks along with French customers (we were the only foreigners). Doesn't appear to be a hip, trendy bar.

We stopped in because it looked charming. The café is small but comfortable.
The woman who waited on us did not know English and we are just learning French so there was a bit of difficulty. However, she showed us le formule petit déjeuner and we pointed at the one we wanted. It included croissant with jam, fresh fruit, chocolate chip brioche, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and café au lait.
Each item was fresh and wonderful. The café au lait was particularly good; the best we've had in France so far.
We plan to come back again before we leave for Aix-en-Provence.
